  • This is the first time a rufous-necked hornbill has been captured by biologists . Pilai Poonswad and her team captured this hornbill and moved in quickly to extricate it from thrashing and squawking in the net. After measuring the nette d hornbill and strapping a radio transmitter to his back, they returned him to the task of feeding his mate.
